Welcome to a world of colour and fantasy!

I have been face and body painting since 1990 and have a degree in Fine Arts and History of Arts. My profession has allowed me to travel all over the world.

I have a soft and gentle touch while painting clients and children love that I work quickly, but smoothly, with a calm and comforting demeanor. I am open and flexible when it comes to my clients, I will try to adapt to your requirements. I take my pride in my professionalism, my punctuality, and adhering to the highest levels of safety standards. I only use the safest water-based FDA-approved products on the market and am fully insured while working in Canada.

Along with my experience comes a wealth of awards, recognition and certifications.  

I am a member of the CAFABA (Canadian Association of Face and Body Artists) and have been an Instructor in the art of face and body painting since 2007.

I am fluent in English, French, Dutch and Spanish.

I am the proud winner of 14 face and body painting awards from various competitions between 2007-2010 - including the 3 most prestigious awards possible: World Body-painting Champion (Austria) 2010, World Face-painting Champion (Austria) 2009 and North-American Body-painting Champion, (Las Vegas) 2010. These awards came after a lot of work and preparation: designing the concepts, the flow of colors, the interpretation of themes and general visual impact. Needless to say, I am very happy to have achieved these goals. Contrarily to many artists, I always work alone, without assistants, when competing.

However, if doing face painting in the Calgary area, I regularly ask the assistance of a few talented colleagues when an event requires more than one artist.

Other highlights include:

• Instructor and Judge at the Australian Face and Body-Painting Convention, Daylesford, Australia, 2012
• Head of Art for the Die Hard Fans Nissan app, launched in 2015, as well as for the Die Hard Fans Rio Nissan app, released in August 2016. This app, produced in collaboration with Critical Mass of Calgary, won a Bronze Lion in Cannes in the category “Augmented Reality”. All face-painting work for this massive project was done by me over the course of a few months.
• Instructor at all Bodyssey Conventions in Canada since 2008.
• Only face-painter to be invited repeatedly each year since 2000 to the prestigious Daidogei World Cup Festival in Shizuoka, Japan.
• Invited face-painter at the amazing Siam Street Festival, Bangkok, Thailand, and to the D.Festa Street Theatre Festival in Seoul, South Korea.
• Main creator of The Prisma Donnas, a roving face-painting trio with high-maintenance, haughty, demanding, silly and ridiculous ex-opera singers who switched careers after losing their voices and now must face-paint people! Lavish costumes, classical music and comedy go along with speed-painting the crowds.

New Adventures

I began making jewelry in 2013. Beautiful stones, beads, pearls, and colourful glass turned into wearable memories that last a lifetime. Along with jewelry sales, I also offer Necklace-Making Parties and Workshops.

In December 2016, my daughter and I launched the Great Beads-On-Wheels Company. We go to your home or event with all of our materials and assist participants in making their own masterpieces. We explain about different materials, stones and origins of beads, show examples of patterns and chromatic principles. A creative, informative and calming activity for a birthday party - or any other excuse to have colorful fun. And, of course, everybody goes home with a new precious heirloom!
